Few things in life hurt worse than losing your mother. As much as it hurt for me to lose mine at 13, I can't imagine the grief Madge felt (and felt for a long time) over losing hers at 5.
For better and worse, yes. I do think she still to this day has issues over her mother's death (she's not alone, as I still have issues, and it's been nearly 20 years for me).
That said, I don't think any of us would've ever heard of "Madonna" had Madonna Louise Ciccone I not died in 1963.
Verily I say unto you dear reader, though you may haveth worketh and reponsibilities-eth, thou shalt screwith that because who careth
about worketh? I don'th. Do you-eth? Yeah. Screwth thee. This is the word and thine word is my blogeth....
what the fucketh am I talking about ith?

I cannot even imagine since I've had both parents all my life. I think that tragedy really made her the woman she is today.
