4 Minutes To Save The World...

...a very low quality leak of Madonna's reported new single "4 Minutes To Save The World..." I'm surprised Timbaland is still alive. We all know Queen Madonna does not like any of her new stuff leaking out before the album hits. But then again, for all we know Madonna probably already has Timbaland's and Timberlake's nuts floating in a jar as I type.

To be honest, I can barely hear any of it to make any sort of judgment but right now, I'm like a hungry dog picking any Madonna scraps I can find. I'm so anxious for Madonna's new album to come out.

So here it is, hopefully this won't be taken down from You Tube.

I Guess This Is Too Boring For The News...

Isn't it funny that Madonna makes the news for farting against the wind and blaming her dog but something like the article below doesn't even make a blip on current news. Madonna doing good, making a difference? Snore. Why don't we do another article on how Madonna stole David from his father again???

Anyways, here's Madge doing some good and getting absolutely no recognition for it except from the people she's helping. I guess in the end that's all that matters. Viva La Mother Madge!

Malawi lauds Madonna for helping orphans
Posted: 20 November 2007 - From Reuters Via Yahoo! News

The Malawi government on Tuesday applauded Madonna's efforts to put the plight of the country's AIDS orphans on the global stage and raising money to support them.
The American singer said last week she would work with luxury goods maker Gucci to raise at least $2 million for Malawi's one million orphans.
Madonna and the Italian firm will host a fundraising event with dinner, musical performance and a party on February 6 next year to mark the opening of Gucci's largest store in the world, on New York's Fifth Avenue.
'What she is doing for orphans of this country very few super stars like her can do that, she has managed to put their plight on the world stage,' government spokesperson and Information Minister Patricia Kaliati told Reuters.
'Madonna has built clinics in rural areas where government has failed to reach and because of that she has saved many lives of pregnant mothers who could have died,' she said.
The pop star and her husband Guy Ritchie's bid to adopt David Banda from Malawi has hit several snags since they took the 13-month-old boy from the African country last year to their home in London.
The boy had been placed in an orphanage by his father after the death of his mother. Madonna is due to return to Malawi next April for a hearing before she can permanently adopt the child.
Madonna said the charity event would benefit UNICEF and the charity she co-founded in 2006, Raising Malawi, which focuses on trying to help Malawi's orphans, many of whose parents have died of AIDS.

A bit of a lull in Madonna world...

Well I'm sure she's hard at work with her new album and her new tour (hopefully) so here's a cute video I found on youtube for the song Intervention. Which is hands down one of my favorite Madonna songs and I love how the video shows all my favorite scenes from IGTTYAS. I love the family clips of Madonna, her kids and guy.

Madonna And Live Nation Link Up A Deal!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Madonna news was slow and frankly I was disappointed to hear that there would be no album at the end of this year. But I got over it when I heard about the very profitable new partnership she has with Live Nation. The article below encompasses a lot of things including the fact that Madonna has yet even more money, but as a fan, I'm thrilled because this can only mean, more Madonna albums to look forward to in the future and best of all....MORE TOURS!!!
Now if only Live Nation can somehow lower her ticket prices.....(sigh) a girl can dream after all.

LOS ANGELES - Madonna and concert promoter Live Nation Inc. announced a deal Tuesday that will give Live Nation a stake in her albums, tours, merchandising, films and other music-related projects.

Financial terms were not disclosed in the joint statement released by Madonna and Live Nation. A person familiar with the agreement previously told the Associated Press it was worth about $120 million over 10 years.

The official announcement came after weeks of speculation that the Material Girl would abandon Warner Music Group Corp., which refused to match the Live Nation deal.

Madonna said in the statement that she was drawn to the all-encompassing deal with Live Nation because of the changes the music business has undergone in recent years.

"The paradigm in the music business has shifted and as an artist and a business woman, I have to move with that shift," Madonna said. "For the first time in my career, the way that my music can reach my fans is unlimited. I've never wanted to think in a limited way and with this new partnership, the possibilities are endless."

The singer still owes Warner Bros. Records another studio album and a greatest hits album.

Under terms of the proposed deal, Madonna, 49, would receive a signing bonus of about $18 million and a roughly $17 million advance for each of three albums, the person said. A portion of the compensation would involve stock, the person told the AP.

Madonna could also benefit significantly from the touring component of the deal, which gives Live Nation the exclusive right to promote her tours, the person said. The person asked not to be named because of the confidential nature of the negotiations.

Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino said in the statement that Madonna will be the founding artist in its new Artist Nation division, created to partner with artists to manage their diverse rights and provide global distribution and marketing.

"I am thrilled that Madonna, who is also now a shareholder in our company, has joined with us to create a new business model for our industry," Rapino said. "Bringing all the varied elements of Madonna's stunning music career into the Artist Nation and Live Nation family, moves her future and the future of our company into a unique and extraordinary place."

The deal encompasses all of Madonna's future music and music-related businesses, including the Madonna brand, new studio albums, touring, merchandising, fan club and Web site, DVDs, music-related television and film projects, and associated sponsorship agreements, the statement said.
